Loved the place, had a perfectly pleasant stay for the holidays. Marvellous location - within short walking distance to everywhere we needed. Plus it was 5 mins drive from Sycamore Lake.

We had a charming 2-night stay, enjoying unique dishes like the Wurst platter and delightful German potato salad. Breakfast was delicious, and our room felt spacious!

The warm staff, and the historic charm of the hotel was lovely. The WiFi was quite poor, and accessing the second floor via stairs may be challenging for some. It was a unique experience worth trying.

The King Room was pretty cute, newly remodeled, and had that IKEA vibe with some nice photos on the walls. It felt cozy overall, but we had a few quirks. Our room faced the bier garden, so I was worried about noise, but it was freezing out, so we got lucky. The heater made a weird noise, and there was no full-length mirror, a bit annoying. The bathroom was chilly, but the charm of the place and friendly staff helped make up for it.

The room sizes can be snug. The shower is quite small, possibly a challenge for larger individuals. The air conditioner creates noticeable noise that could disturb sleep, although local weather allows for open-window ventilation without screens.

I stayed for 1 night in a King Room. The location is excellent, right in town. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the history. I appreciated their helpfulness. It made for a pleasant visit 😊

Charming place with friendly staff. The golf course nearby adds a nice touch. Rooms can get noisy from the Bier Garden.

This place suits me perfectly! I love the free wi-fi, air conditioning, and tv. On my first stay, the staff helped me with printing, which I appreciated. The amazing bartender also. I highly recommend it for a city break!

The location right in the heart of Batesville made exploring easy. The staff were friendly and eager to help, providing great local tips. I appreciated the access to a nearby fitness center. The air conditioning unit was very noisy and made it hard to sleep, so I had to turn it off. The lack of an operating restaurant and bar was disappointing. It would have added to the experience. The hotel has potential, but some improvements would enhance the stay.

We stayed in a cozy King Room and the atmosphere was just what we needed, my wife was blown away by how charming everything felt. The staff were great. They even helped us find a nice little place nearby for a romantic dinner on our anniversary.

It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but felt it was worth the price.

The location of the hotel was convenient, being near a fitness center, a newly restored restaurant, and the downtown area. We were pleased to find Schmidt Bakery nearby offering hot beverages. - Our room came equipped with central heating, a personal safe, and multi-channel television.
